1. No Video Recording or Storage

Poker Face Test runs entirely in your browser. When you grant camera access, the video feed is processed in real time to detect facial expressions and landmarks. No video, images, or audio are ever recorded, stored, uploaded, or transmitted to any server.All processing happens locally on your device. Once you close the page, all data is permanently gone.

2. No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information. The name you enter is used solely to display on your results screen and optionally on the leaderboard. We do not require an email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier to play the game.

3. Leaderboard Data

If you choose to participate in the leaderboard, only your chosen username and numerical score are saved to our database via Supabase. This data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties. You may opt out at any time by simply not playing or by clearing your browser data.

4. No Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only external service we use is Supabase (for leaderboard storage) and Plausible (for anonymous, privacy-compliant analytics). Both services are GDPR-compliant and do not track individuals.

5. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or any form of client-side storage for advertising or analytics purposes. Plausible uses a cookieless tracking method that respects your privacy.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of Poker Face Test after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
